HANOVER INVESTMENT SECURITIES PLACED INTO LIQUIDATION

Hanover Investment Securities, a broker-dealer firm located in Madisonville, has been placed into liquidation.  The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana has appointed the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) to act as trustee.  SIPC is a non-profit corporation funded by its member broker-dealer firms and was created by the United States Congress in 1970 to work with customers of closed brokerage firms to return their cash, stocks, and other securities.  SIPC is currently working with the Bankruptcy Court to identify all customers of Hanover and finalize the claims process.  Once this is completed, SIPC will mail claims forms and instructions to all known customers.  In order to ensure that you are properly identified as a customer of Hanover, you should send your contact information to SIPC, including name, address, telephone number, and account number.
